Loyola Marymount University Lions Think Like Economists to Make a Change in the World
As consumers and producers, and importers and exporters.
We as Loyola Marymount University Lions work together to make a change in the world. With our goal to advance social justice with our minds on climate change, health equality, income inequality, or sustainable living.
Our COVID vaccinations uptake has enhanced marginal external benefits to society and created the positive externality we need in the world right now.
We minimize negative externalities to make the environment a better place for the present and future generations.
We work together for our supply to meet our demand and achieve market equilibrium. Networking with one another at school events or on LinkedIn, we make meaningful life- long connections that increase employment rates and productivity.
But also learning and connecting with one another to gain insight about our interests, passions, and goals.
We all come from different cities, states, and countries, but all have in common that unique roar of the LMU lion.
We trade our skills and knowledge among ourselves when working as a team in or out of the classroom.
Understanding opportunity costs, we take the risks in making our choices knowing all our options.
We interconnect our minds to better the world on a daily basis making the world a better place.
Education connects us to ourselves and others where we learn about our interests, passions, and skills to acquire our expertise.
When all come together with our specializations, we can reach our goal to the potential GDP.
